Maintenance Supervisor

Maintenance Supervisor $130k + bonus - 3rd shift - Food Processing, Cleveland, OH Key Responsibilities Preventative & Predictive Maintenance: Plan, execute, and validate PM schedules to ensure continuous, reliable operation of processing, pasteurization, and packaging lines. The Reliability Engineer issues PMs and work orders nightly - completing these in a timely manner is the core of the role. Team Leadership: Supervise, mentor, and schedule maintenance technicians. Assign daily tasks, conduct performance reviews, and identify training needs. Technicians work at varying skill levels - patience and development are key. Compliance & Food Safety: Enforce strict adherence to FDA, USDA, OSHA, and company guidelines. Ensure all repairs meet sanitary design and food safety standards. Downtime Management & Troubleshooting: Respond to equipment breakdowns. Diagnose root causes, assign mechanics swiftly, and implement corrective actions. Inventory & Budget Management: Monitor MRO spare parts inventory. Track expenditures and manage department budgets. Qualifications Experience: 5+ years of progressive maintenance experience, with supervisory responsibility, in a dairy or food and beverage manufacturing facility. Technical Skills: Strong mechanical aptitude; solid understanding of 480V electrical systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, and utility systems (boilers, CIP). PLC troubleshooting is a plus but represents a small portion of the role. Soft Skills: Exceptional problem-solving and root-cause analysis. Strong communication skills to coordinate between production, quality, and engineering across shifts. #J-18808-Ljbffr
