Key Responsibilities\n- \n

- Facilitate psychoeducational groups and support sessions to address common mental health challenges faced by students, thereby fostering a sense of community. \n
- Work alongside educators, school counselors, and mental health professionals to ensure an integrated approach to student support. \n
- Provide crisis intervention as necessary, offering immediate support during emergencies and collaborating effectively with emergency services as appropriate. \n
- Educate students and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and community resources available for ongoing support. \n
- Document patient interactions and treatment progress accurately and in accordance with legal standards, maintaining confidentiality throughout. \n
- Participate in team meetings and case consultations, contributing to shared learning and development as a professional. \n
- Stay informed about the latest research and trends in mental health therapy practices through ongoing education and training. \n
You will serve a diverse clientele, primarily focusing on school-aged children and adolescents, who may be facing a variety of mental health challenges. - Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or closely related field from an accredited institution. \n
- Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in New York State. \n
