Active Path Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMFT, LPC, LCSW) to join our dynamic team. Work Environment\nThe position operates within a telehealth framework, making it convenient for both counselors and clients to engage in therapy sessions from various locations. Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct initial assessments and ongoing evaluations to determine the mental health status of clients. \n
- Develop personalized treatment plans that address the specific needs and goals of each client, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities. \n
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions, employing culturally responsive techniques to support diverse client backgrounds. \n
- Utilize crisis intervention skills to assist clients in acute situations, providing immediate support and resources as needed. \n
- Collaborate with other healthcare providers, including psychiatrists and social workers, to ensure holistic care for clients. \n
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in electronic health record (EHR) systems in compliance with legal and ethical standards. \n
- Engage in continuous professional development, seeking out training opportunities to stay current with best practices in mental health counseling. \n
This role will involve working with a diverse client population, including individuals experiencing issues related to substance use, depression, anxiety, and eating disorders. As a counselor, you will have the opportunity to implement your clinical skills to support clients through complex challenges and facilitate their journey toward improved mental health and overall well-being.
Qualifications\n- \n
- A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution. \n
- A current and valid license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Oregon. \n
- A minimum of four years of relevant clinical experience in a mental health setting. \n
- Thorough understanding of mental health disorders, treatment methods, and interventions reflecting cultural competency. \n
- Demonstrated ability to provide therapy in both individual and group settings, tailored to the needs of various populations. \n
- Strong communication skills, with a proven ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds. \n
- Experience using electronic health record (EHR) systems and proficiency in standard office software applications. \n
- Commitment to maintaining professional integrity, ethical standards, and confidentiality in all client interactions. \n
- A collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively within interdisciplinary teams. \n

- Prior experience in a telehealth setting is highly regarded. \n
- Proficiency in evidence-based practices such as CBT, DBT, or motivational interviewing. \n
- Background working with specific populations, such as adolescents or individuals with co-occurring disorders. \n
This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
