FORUM Credit Union is looking for a motivated and service-focused Manager-in-Training to learn all aspects of branch operations while preparing for future leadership opportunities within the Credit Union.

 

The Manager-in-Training will develop the skills, knowledge, and experience necessary to support branch operations and deliver exceptional member service. Through hands-on training, this role will gain exposure to branch leadership, sales and service strategies, employee development, Credit Union products and services, and operational procedures. The ideal candidate is a driven professional who enjoys working with members, achieving goals, and growing into a leadership role. 

Responsibilities

What you'll do:

• Develop proficiency in the Member Advisor and Member Relationship Specialist roles while building a strong understanding of Credit Union products and services.
• Meet individually assigned sales and service goals while delivering exceptional experiences to members.
• Handle member concerns, questions, and complaints with professionalism, courtesy, and a focus on resolution.
• Learn and support branch opening and closing procedures while serving as a backup to branch leadership.
• Assist branch management with achieving branch goals and supporting day-to-day operations.
• Participate in employee coaching, performance documentation, training initiatives, and team development activities.
• Help maintain a professional branch environment that reflects FORUM's commitment to service excellence.
• Build leadership, networking, sales, and operational management skills through structured training and hands-on experience.

Qualifications

What we are looking for:

• A two-year college degree, completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school, or completion of a specialized and extensive in-house training program.
• One to three years of similar or related experience, preferably in banking, financial services, retail, or customer service.
• Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) certification or the ability to obtain and maintain certification.
