Registered Nurse - Inpatient

Astera Health currently has a Registered Nurse (RN) opening at the Wadena campus.This position is part-time: 48 hours per biweekly pay period, 12-hour night shifts, with every third holiday and weekend rotation schedule.Some responsibilities of the Inpatient RN include, but are not limited to the following:Uses and documents the nursing process to provide individualized patient-focused care from admission to dischargeCoordinates the nursing plan of care with the medical plan of care in the development and implementation of the Patient Care PlanAssists the physician with rounds, physical examinations and proceduresMaintains updated age-specific competencies for infant, child, adolescent, adult and geriatric patientsPerforms patient care activities to provide for the physical, social, psychological and spiritual needs of the patient/familySafely administers treatments and medicationsAstera Health is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
