The Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) at Tidelands Health is seeking a board-eligible or board-certified OB/GYN to join a growing community-based practice in Murrells Inlet, South Carolina. This role is an employed position within MUSC Health and practices within the Tidelands Health system to serve Horry, Georgetown and Williamsburg Counties, the second fastest growing region in the country.

Required Qualifications:

• Board Certified/Board Eligible by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology 
\n

\n

\n
• Eligible for medical license in South Carolina  
\n

\n

 

\n

• Full-time IP/OP practice opportunity due to volume growth 
\n

\n

\n
• Well-respected, established program with 11 OB/GYNs, two Urogynecologists and nine Advanced Practice Providers, including six Certified Nurse Midwives 
\n

\n

\n
• Two acute-care hospitals and four outpatient practices – Labor & Delivery Coverage is only at our Tidelands Waccamaw Community Hospital 
\n

\n

\n
• Midwives take first call - Physician call shared between 10 physicians (roughly 1:5 call for primary and backup call) 
\n

\n

\n
• Modern facilities, including a Level II nursery, 12 operating suites and two daVinci Xi robotic surgery systems 
\n

\n

\n
• First hospital in South Carolina to hold advanced certification in perinatal care from The Joint Commission; designated Baby-Friendly by the World Health Organization and UNICEF
