TouchPoint Location & Setting TouchPoint at Ascension Sacred Heart Pensacola, an acute care facility licensed for 550 beds covering critical, progressive, cardiac, medical‑surgical, renal (incl. transplant), oncology, neurology, orthopedics, perinatal, postpartum, pediatrics, and neonatal care. Schedule Coverage varies Monday‑Friday and weekends as needed. Shift: 8:00 am – 4:30 pm. Position Requirements Registered Dietitian (RDN) with RD credentials or CDR exam eligible. Licensed Dietitian (or willing to obtain) in the state of practice. Provide medical nutrition therapy and education in an acute care setting, working with a collaborative team to enhance patient outcomes through evidence‑based nutrition care. What You’ll Do Perform comprehensive nutritional assessments and develop individualized plans to promote recovery and improve health outcomes. Provide guidance on nutrition and lifestyle strategies to support sustainable, long‑term wellness for patients, families, staff, and the community. Apply the latest research in alignment with the diet manual, company policies, and facility protocols. Contribute to QAPI initiatives aimed at advancing patient care and clinical excellence. Partner with food service management to achieve patient satisfaction and service goals. Support the growth of staff and dietetic interns through education and training. Qualifications Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) or CDR exam eligible. Licensed Dietitian (or willing to obtain) in the state of practice.
