We work to deliver service excellence to our retailers and producers, relentlessly working toward more consistent, dependable and high-quality delivery services to make us an invaluable part of supply chain logistics.The Opportunity: The Dispatch Manager supports daily fleet operations by coordinating dispatch activity, managing freight movement, and maintaining clear, consistent communication with drivers to ensure safe, compliant, and on-time service. This individual contributor role partners closely with internal teams and, when applicable, customer contacts to support operational continuity, driver engagement, and service reliability across assigned shifts, including off-hours support.Job Schedule: 3 available schedulesSun - Thurs 9 am - 6:30 pm (Fri and Sat off)Mon, Tues, Fri and Sat. 7 am - 7 pm (Sun, Wed & Thurs off)Tues - Sat 8 am - 5:30 pm (Sun & Mon off)Compensation: $70,000 Starting salary (Pay Bi-Weekly) A final amount is dependent on factors including prior relevant experience, knowledge, and location. Typically, selected candidates are hired at a rate between the minimum and midpoint of the range. Benefits: Comprehensive package including medical, dental, and vision coverage; prescription drug and telemedicine services; company-paid life and disability insurance; retirement savings with company match; paid time off, holidays, and parental leave; plus additional voluntary benefits and employee discounts.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Operational Leadership and Performance: Support daily fleet operations by managing dispatch activities, coordinating freight movement, and maintaining strong communication with drivers to ensure compliance, safety, and on-time performanceTeam Leadership and Development: Partner with fleet managers to support driver communication, resolve issues, and promote operational consistency across shiftsCustomer and Internal Communication: Maintain open, timely, and professional communication with drivers, internal departments, and customer teams to ensure reliable service and operational continuitySafety and Compliance: Ensure all drivers comply with Department of Transportation (DOT) and Hours of Service (HOS) regulations; promptly report any safety or compliance concernsPerformance Monitoring and Analysis: Track load status, driver availability, and service metrics; proactively identify and communicate potential service issues or delays to maintain customer satisfactionCross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with planning, maintenance, and customer service teams to resolve operational challenges and support load completionContinuous Improvement: Identify recurring operational issues and recommend process or communication improvements to enhance efficiency and reliabilityAvailability: Maintain flexibility to support 24/7 operations and ensure appropriate coverage during off-hours or unplanned eventsAccountability and Reliability: Maintain regular and reliable attendance while performing other duties as assigned to support team and business needsRequirements:Education: High school diploma or equivalentPhysical Requirements: Work is performed in an office environment.
