Supervisory Contract Specialist (Senior Deputy Assistant Director)

Eligibility This position is in the Senior Executive Service (SES). Veteran's preference does not apply to the SES. Mandatory Technical Qualifications (MTQs) MTQ 1: Demonstrated experience in directing and leading procurement operations, providing strategic enterprise leadership; including assessing the health of the organization, evaluating and measuring performance, formulating objectives and priorities, enhancing organizational effectiveness and efficiency, and implementing plans to meet acquisition requirements of an Agency. Experience in developing and refining a wide variety of acquisition strategies for a complex procurement portfolio in collaboration with senior acquisition leadership across a large, functionally diverse enterprise; leading and managing complex multi‑billion acquisitions; establishing, evaluating, and measuring performance, program control and compliance of the acquisitions. MTQ 2: Demonstrated experience working with senior Executive Branch officials, members of Congress, or other national-level groups to develop and implement procurement policies.
