Details Outpatient clinic setting focused on adult orthopedic and neurological rehabilitation 50% of caseload involves aquatic-based physical therapy Day shift schedule, 5x8-hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM 26-week assignment length Requirements Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy or equivalent from an accredited program required Current Alaska PT license or eligibility for licensure required, if applicable Experience or strong interest in aquatic therapy strongly preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills, particularly with children and families Additional Information Responsibilities include evaluating patients, developing individualized treatment plans, and delivering hands-on aquatic and land-based therapy Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed Educate patients and families on exercises, injury prevention, and wellness strategies Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation Ability to create engaging, fun therapy sessions while maintaining therapeutic goals Candidates should research housing availability in the area prior to applying American Traveler Job ID P-745088.
