Buyer/Planner III

Buyer/Planner III role in supply chain operations at Thermo Fisher Scientific's Cranbury, NJ facility. Optimize inventory, production planning, and supply chain execution through data-driven insights while collaborating across manufacturing, procurement, finance, and operations teams.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain inventory and production plans balancing customer service, efficiency, and working capital
- Analyze demand, supply, and capacity constraints to create forward-looking production schedules
- Prepare inventory and demand data for SIOP reviews and identify process improvements for planning accuracy
- Monitor inventory levels and safety stock parameters to minimize excess and obsolete materials
- Partner with Manufacturing and Procurement to mitigate supply risks and resolve operational issues
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, Engineering, or related field
- 3–5 years of supply planning, inventory planning, materials management, or supply chain operations experience
- Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems such as Oracle, SAP, or JDE
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office skills
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
- Pass comprehensive background check including drug screen
Compensation: $75,000–$100,000 base
