Supply Planner/Supply Chain Analyst II

Thermo Fisher Scientific seeks a Supply/Materials Planner II in Madison, Wisconsin to develop and maintain supply plans supporting customer delivery and inventory objectives. The role involves coordinating with cross-functional teams, managing SAP systems, and driving on-time performance across assigned product lines.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and communicate detailed rolling 24-month supply plans in SAP for assigned product lines
• Serve as primary contact for supply planning, order scheduling and communications at Madison site
• Monitor material availability and proactively escalate shortages and delivery constraints to stakeholders
• Contribute to On Time to Promise performance by identifying risks and coordinating corrective actions
• Lead cross-functional meetings to align priorities and resolve supply chain challenges

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 2–3 years supply chain planning experience, or Associate degree with 4–6 years relevant experience
• Hands-on experience with ERP/MRP systems such as SAP, Oracle, JDE or equivalent platforms
• Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency and experience with data analysis tools
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities for supply, demand and inventory evaluation
• Excellent written and verbal communication with demonstrated cross-functional collaboration skills
• Working knowledge of inventory management principles and supply chain planning practices
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic manufacturing environment
