Job Purpose:

We are looking for a cashier who enjoys working with the public and has a friendly, outgoing personality. As a team-oriented company, we seek an individual who can be flexible with work hours. The ideal candidate is dedicated in providing exceptional customer service and displays a positive attitude when interacting with customers and employees.

Duties:

• Perform basic math functions to handle transactions and make change
• Operate computer system, scanners, and credit card/debit card ATM terminals
• Memorize machine locations throughout the casino and be able to direct customers or make suggestions
• Handle exchanges and refunds in a quick, efficient manner
• Maintain accurate cash drawer
• Take a tally of the funds in the cash drawer when required during a shift and produce transaction reports
• Keep the cashier area clean and orderly
• Works as a team member to make sure that casino floor is clean and orderly along with other employees.

Skills/Qualifications:

• High school graduate
• Mathematical skills and the ability to handle transactions quickly and accurately
• Previous experience in a cashier environment helpful.
• Positive, helpful attitude toward customers, including the ability to speak clearly and convey information accurately
• Ability to process gaming tickets, check cashing, and cash advance transactions.
• Capable of lifting up to 25 pounds, bending and twisting and standing for long periods of time
• Knowledge of casino system, including cash, credit cards and paycheck procedures.
