Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care across medical and surgical units, including floating to Medical Unit, Laulima Unit, and occasional Cardiovascular Unit
- Perform comprehensive assessments, administer medications, monitor patient status, and respond to changes in condition
- Support procedures, wound care, chest tube management, wound vacs, and use of Pyxis for medication distribution
- Document care in the electronic medical record (Meditech EMR) and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team
- Promote patient safety, infection control, and adherence to unit-based protocols and policies
- Provide discharge planning support and patient education as appropriate

Requirements
- Hawaii RN license active by start of assignment; travelers not in possession of a Hawaii license must apply upon acceptance
- Certification: BLS required; ACLS preferred (additional: PALS, Procedural Sedation, TNCC, ENPC)
- Experience: 2-10 years of RN experience in medical-surgical or related hospital units
- Ability to float to Medical, Laulima, and occasionally Cardiovascular units; strong critical thinking and teamwork
- Immunization/ immunity proof as required; medical and religious exemptions not accepted in lieu of documentation
- Education: Verified RN educational credentials; ability to work a 12-hour shift schedule in a hospital setting
