We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Seamstress to join our team. The ideal candidate must have some experience in sewing and in manufacturing environments. This role involves creating, repairing, and altering clothing items to meet quality standards. The Seamstress will play a vital part in ensuring our products are crafted with precision and care, contributing to the overall success of our production process.

Responsibilities

Construct fabric according to design specifications using sewing machines and hand stitching techniques

Perform alterations and repairs on clothing items to ensure proper fit and quality

Follow detailed patterns and instructions to maintain consistency across products

Inspect finished products for defects or inconsistencies and make necessary adjustments

Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote safety and efficiency

Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while adhering to quality standards

Requirements

Proven experience in sewing, with proficiency in operating sewing machines

Strong knowledge of sewing techniques, patterns, and fabric handling

Prior experience in manufacturing or warehouse environments is preferred

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail

Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity

Ability to follow detailed instructions and work independently or as part of a team

Basic understanding of safety procedures related to sewing equipment and manufacturing processes
