Pallet Sorter

Overview As a Pallet Sorter, you’ll get to hand sort pallets within a distribution facility and ensure high levels of safety and cleanliness. This is the perfect role for someone looking to maintain high levels of activity and it is vital to the success of our customers’ production! Hourly Pay: $17.00/hr Shift(s): 3rd Shift Monday, Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday - 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM; 4th Shift Monday, Thursday, Sat, Sun 3:30pm - 2am. Location: Opelousas, LA Responsibilities Hand stack pallets to appropriate heights Load and unload materials from trailers by hand Move pallets or materials on pallets or in crates around the distribution center Check loads to make sure they are secure Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards Coordinate trailer moves within yard management system Accurately complete production paperwork to track progress Communicate directly with Shift Lead or On-Site Manager regularly Requirements High school degree or GED required Excellent oral and written communication skills needed Ability to work overtime when needed Benefits Competitive Pay, Holiday Pay, and Daily Pay - Access to your earned wages before payday!
