HVAC Technician — Nashville, TN

$25–$45/hour DOE | Full-Time | Permanent

Our growing client is seeking an experienced HVAC Technician to join their team in the Nashville, TN area. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity with an established and growing company looking for a dependable HVAC professional who can diagnose, service, repair, and install commercial and/or residential HVAC systems.

Position Overview

The HVAC Technician will be responsible for troubleshooting, servicing, repairing, maintaining, and installing HVAC equipment. The ideal candidate will have solid field experience, strong diagnostic skills, and the ability to work independently while providing professional service to customers.

Responsibilities

Perform service, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and installation of HVAC systems and equipment. Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration-related problems and determine appropriate repairs. Perform preventive maintenance and system inspections. Install and replace HVAC equipment, components, controls, ductwork, and related systems. Read and interpret equipment specifications, wiring diagrams, and installation documentation. Communicate professionally with customers, supervisors, and other team members. Maintain accurate service records and documentation. Follow all company safety procedures and applicable HVAC codes and regulations. Maintain a clean, organized, and professional job site.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of hands-on HVAC experience , although highly motivated technicians with less experience may be considered. Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills are required. Experience with electrical systems, refrigerant circuits, compressors, motors, controls, and HVAC equipment is preferred. EPA certification is strongly preferred. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required. Candidates must be dependable, professional, and comfortable working independently in the field.
