Northwest Health - Porter has an opportunity in Valparaiso, Indiana for an experienced Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join our robust cardiothoracic service line including Cardiac, Thoracic and Vascular Surgery, Structural, EP and Advanced Imaging.  Network Cardiology referral base of 10 cardiologists and large primary care network.

Large volume growth potential - replacing a departing surgeon.  Experience required: 2 to 5+ years.

Details of the position include:

• Full scope cardiothoracic surgery

• Established TAVR program (5+ years)

• Robotic surgery option

• Hybrid room

• Clinic attached to hospital

• Closed ICU with dedicated cardiac rooms and staff

• Clinical navigator and quality metric monitoring

• 1:2 call schedule

• Excellent PA support

Northwest Health Porter is a 200-bed acute care hospital located in Valparaiso, Indiana. Accredited by The Joint Commission, the hospital offers a full continuum of services, including emergency and trauma care, cardiology, oncology, primary care, obstetrics, pediatrics, neonatal intensive care, orthopedics, spine care, and inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation. The hospital features a Women and Childrens Pavilion and a long-standing neonatal intensive care unit serving Northwest Indiana.
