Are you a passionate dental hygienist looking to join a growing, goal-oriented team? Smile Design Riverview is seeking a full-time Registered Dental Hygienist to join our hardworking and supportive practice.

Schedule:

• Monday – Thursday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• Some Fridays: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional preventive and therapeutic dental hygiene care for patients of all ages.
• Perform routine dental cleanings, periodontal maintenance, scaling and root planing, and other hygiene procedures within scope of practice.
• Take and evaluate dental radiographs.
• Educate patients on oral health, treatment recommendations, and at-home care.
• Conduct comprehensive periodontal assessments and document findings accurately.
• Partner closely with doctors and team members to support comprehensive patient care.
• Utilize clinical technology to support diagnosis and patient education.
• Maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation.
• Follow infection control, sterilization, and safety protocols.
• Help create a positive patient experience through excellent communication and compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Active Florida Dental Hygienist license.
• 2+ years of experience as a dental hygienist is required.
• Strong clinical skills with a commitment to patient-centered care.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
• Experience with Dentrix and VideaAI is preferred but not required.
• Ability to educate patients and support treatment acceptance through clear, confident communication.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to contribute to a growing practice.

Qualifications:

• Current dental hygienist license.
• Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation.
• CPR Certification.

Preferred Experience

• Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems.
• Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health.
• Clinical needs as required by office.
