Food Service Manager – Kitchen Manager Newport, KY (Campbell County Detention Center) $50,000–$55,000/year (based on experience) | Full-Time | PTO + 401(k) + ESOP + Benefits We’re hiring a Food Service Manager / Kitchen Manager to lead daily kitchen operations in a structured, team-focused environment. This is a stable, full-time leadership role with consistent scheduling and strong benefits. $50,000–$55,000/year salary (DOE) Full benefits + PTO 401(k) + Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) Stable, year-round position (not seasonal or restaurant-dependent) What You’ll Do Manage daily kitchen operations, food prep, and meal service Supervise kitchen staff and inmate workers Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and health standards Handle inventory, ordering, and cost control Follow facility safety and security procedures Plan and execute menus based on guidelines and budget Qualifications Experience as a Food Service Manager, Kitchen Manager, or Cafeteria Manager Background in high-volume food production (restaurants, schools, healthcare, or institutional settings) a plus Strong leadership and team management skills Knowledge of ServSafe or food safety standards Reliable, organized, and able to work in a structured environment This role is based inside a secure correctional facility.
