The individual selected for this position will be part of the Manufacturing Engineering organization with primary responsibilities focused on support, development and continuous improvement of 200mm semiconductor manufacturing processes.**Essential Responsibilities include:*** Drive continuous improvement efforts in support of throughput improvement, cost reduction, and yield learning.* Design, execute, and analyze experiments to screen and optimize equipment and processes to meet technology (performance, yield, and reliability) and manufacturing (process stability, cost of ownership) targets.* Must be technically inclined and able to lead hands on, tactical troubleshooting efforts to resolve long term performance issues; must be able to deconstruct and understand complex systems* Collaborate with GLOBALFOUNDRIES technicians and operators to support delivery and quality commitments to our customers.* Collaborate with technology development, integration, characterization, and quality engineering to develop new technologies and drive improvements to yield.* Ability to understand both the equipment and process sides of issues, focusing delivering our product on-time with excellent quality.* Apply structured problem-solving methods to complex systems to address performance issues.**Other Responsibilities:*** Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.**Required Qualifications:*** Education – Graduating with Bachelor’s in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or related field from an accredited degree program.* Must have at least an overall 3.0 GPA and proven good academic standing.* Language Fluency - English (Written & Verbal)* Travel - Up to 10%**Preferred Qualifications:*** Prior related internship or co-op experience.* Demonstrated prior leadership experience in the workplace, school projects, competitions, etc.* Project management skills, i.e. the ability to innovate and execute solutions that matter; the ability to navigate ambiguity.* Strong written and verbal communication skills* Strong planning & organizational skills* Ability to work effectively and efficiently with diverse teams, customers, internal and external partners.* Understanding and knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Design of Experiments (DOE)#NCGProgramUS**Expected Salary Range**$54,200.00 - $110,300.00The exact Salary will be determined based on qualifications, experience and location.If you need a reasonable accommodation for any part of the employment process, please contact us by email at View email address on click.appcast.io and let us know the nature of your request and your contact information.
