Role Description: The Benefits Advisor role is a full-time, hybrid position, with the territory office being in Royal Oak, MI. The Benefits Advisor will meet with employees to review and explain voluntary benefit options, answer questions, and help individuals select plans that best meet their needs. Daily responsibilities include conducting benefits enrollments, providing ongoing customer service support, and maintaining accurate records of consultations and enrollments. The role involves collaborating with employer contacts to schedule meetings, deliver group presentations on benefit offerings, and assist with training sessions related to benefits. The Benefits Advisor will also identify opportunities to expand coverage, follow up with leads, and support sales initiatives while maintaining a consultative, service-focused approach. Qualifications Consistent commitment to the vision and your personal brand, involving clear communication and goal-setting. Self-starter. Plenty of resources for training/support will be available. Reliable transportation Knowledge of employee benefits and insurance products, with the ability to clearly explain plan options and coverage details. Strong customer service skills, including active listening, empathy, and the ability to handle questions and concerns professionally.
