What You’ll Do Lead from the Front: Direct daily crew operations to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule. Build & Mentor: Coach crew members, share best practices, and help team members develop their technical skills. Execute with Precision: Read and interpret job blueprints, utility maps, and project specifications to guide accurate field execution. Champion Safety: Ensure full compliance with company safety policies, OSHA standards, and DOT regulations on every job site. Serve as a Site Ambassador: Coordinate daily tasks with Supervisors and communicate professionally with property owners and community members to resolve questions or concerns. Operate Equipment: Safely handle heavy machinery and specialized tools across various outdoor terrains and weather conditions. Other duties as assigned What You’ll Need Age & Legal: Must be 18 years of age or older with authorization to work in the U.S. for this company. Driver’s License: A valid driver’s license is required. Education & Experience: High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant field experience (or a combination of education and experience). Proven Field Record: At least 3 years of related underground telecommunications experience. Leadership Experience: Previous Foreman or crew leadership experience is preferred. Big Plus: Bore Drilling experience (Directional Drilling / HDD operations) is highly preferred and a major advantage for this role! Physical Demands & Work Environment Routinely: Working outdoors in remote locations and confined spaces; operating vehicles and heavy machinery; lifting 55+ lbs; bending, stooping, standing, climbing stairs, and performing frequent hand-arm motions. Occasionally: Using ladders, keyboards, and office devices. The wage range for Foreman Telecom Underground is $31.00 - $40.00.
