The Non-CDL Truck Driver will drive a small truck to transport cargo to and from destinations within the immediate local area. Non-CDL Truck Driver - LOCAL - HOME DAILY - OVER-TIME AVAILABLE

1st Shift: Flexible Early Morning Shifts, Monday to Friday Pay: starting at $24.12/hr

Duties and Responsibilities

• Inspects the truck pre- and post-trip.
• Accurately complete vehicle inspection sheets, fuel consumption logs, daily log sheets, bills of lading, vehicle trip records, and expense reports.
• Ensures all cargo is loaded, checked, and safely secured during transit.
• Assists with or oversees loading and unloading of cargo to ensure secure transit.
• Acquires all proper signatures on shipping/receiving documents.
• Monitors the maintenance and repair of the truck.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating professionally and representing them company positively.
• Responsible for following all Federal and State DOT regulations as well as warehouse safety regulations.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Experience

• 1+ years recent commercial delivery-driving experience or willing to complete training program
• Valid state-issued driver's license, with a clean driving record.
• Capacity to demonstrate reliability, adaptability, and dependability.
• Good hand-eye coordination.
• Thoroughness and attention to detail in task completion.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Previous experience working in a high-volume distribution, manufacturing, technical service (i.e. testing and repair) or forward logistics operation a plus
• Strong commitment to customer service

Educational Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Physical Demands and Working Conditions

• The ability to lift, push and/or pull up to 50lbs., if necessary
• Flexible early morning shifts
• Comfortable sitting for extended periods
