Job Summary
Medical Surgical Floor Nurse in North Carolina This position involves providing competent clinical nursing care in a hospital setting. The nurse will coordinate and deliver patient care utilizing the nursing process, ensuring quality and safety standards are met.

Job Details

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 48 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Nursing Diploma or ASN from an accredited nursing school, licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina, Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification (AHA or ARC), 2+ years of MedSurg/Telemetry (Tele) experience, previous neuro experience highly preferred
• Preferred Qualifications: BSN or MSN from an accredited school of Nursing
• Additional Information: Must demonstrate competence in care of patients with complex problems, including physical, psychosocial, educational, and safety aspects. Utilizes healthcare organization and nursing standards, policies, and procedures in delivery of care. Performs bedside point of care testing as required, prioritizes care according to patient needs, and collaborates with multidisciplinary resources to develop or update patient care plans. Participation in performance improvement activities and cost-effective care promotion is essential. The candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced hospital environment, with a focus on patient safety, education, discharge planning, and communication.
