Lead Business Analyst, Eagle STAR Investment Reporting

Job Overview Lead Business Analyst – Full Time, Chicago, IL. Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder; No visa sponsorship. We are looking for an experienced Lead Business Analyst with expertise in Investment Accounting & Reporting using Eagle STAR & Eagle DataMart Modules to join our Product Delivery team. The role involves collaborating with business users across Portfolio Accounting, Client Reporting, and the Engineering team to establish and execute a product roadmap. It requires heavy interaction with stakeholders to document requirements for multiyear roadmap projects and will work with Agile and Waterfall methodologies, supporting Strategic Product Launches, Investment Accounting, Cash Management, Corporate Actions, and Client Reporting. Key Responsibilities Conduct research and analysis to identify gaps and areas for improvement in systems and processes. Collaborate with stakeholders to define and prioritize product roadmaps. Develop detailed user stories, use cases, and specifications based on business requirements. Own solutions from ideation to implementation and support. Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) and provide ongoing support for continuous improvement. Actively participate in agile practices such as sprint planning and daily stand‑ups. Stay updated with industry trends and best practices for innovation and process optimization. Educational Requirements University degree preferred. Required Skills 8+ years of experience in investment management, focusing on Investment Accounting, Cash Management, Corporate Actions, and Client Reporting using Eagle Modules. Experience in investment accounting for Equity, Fixed Income, Derivatives, Fund Accounting, and Alternate assets. Proficiency in Eagle STAR Accounting, Portfolio Structure, Cash Management, and Client Reporting through DataMart. Familiarity with Eagle Data Model and basic SQL. Preferred Skills Strong knowledge of integrating with vendor feeds and reference data. Excellent communication skills and experience in a fast‑paced agile environment.
