Bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist

Bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Location: Blue Island, IL Pay: Up to $70/hour We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist to join a school-based setting in Blue Island, IL. This role offers the opportunity to positively impact students by supporting their communication and academic success. Position Summary The Speech-Language Pathologist is responsible for conducting student evaluations and providing therapy services in accordance with each student’s individualized plan of care and physician’s orders. This role includes collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to ensure students receive comprehensive support. Key Responsibilities Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine student needs Provide and document therapy services aligned with individualized plans Deliver both direct and indirect therapy minutes Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Utilize AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) devices as appropriate Collaborate with teachers, parents, and related service providers Maintain accurate and compliant documentation in accordance with professional standards Minimum Requirements Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in the state of Illinois Bilingual proficiency required Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred and may be required Strong knowledge of school-based practices and IEP development Ability to comply with all professional standards of practice Additional Requirements Current CPR certification (if applicable) TB screening (questionnaire, PPD, or chest X-ray as required) Current health certificate (per state or contract guidelines) Must meet all federal, state, and local employment requirements Must be at least 18 years of age Compensation and Benefits Competitive hourly rate up to $70/hour Supportive and collaborative school environment Opportunity to make a meaningful impact on student outcomes Benefits At Amergis, we firmly believe that our employees are the heartbeat of our organization and we are happy to offer the following benefits: Competitive pay & weekly paychecks Health, dental, vision, and life insurance 401(k) savings plan Awards and recognition programs Benefit eligibility is dependent on employment status.
