Adult and Teen Services Librarian

Nature and Scope of Adult and Teen Services Librarian Position
Qualifications
- Knowledge of the philosophy and objectives of public library service.
- Ability to provide outstanding customer service in a wide variety of formats.
- Knowledge of digital and print reference and readers' advisory resources.
- Proficiency in and knowledge of the use of current and emerging technologies.
- Ability to prioritize and schedule tasks and responsibilities to utilize time most efficiently and effectively.
- Ability to interpret library policies and procedures for the public in a customer-friendly manner.
- MLS/MLIS from an ALA-accredited institution or recognized equivalent required.
Hours Full-time, non-exempt position: 37.5 hours per week, with a variable schedule during day, evening, and weekend hours.
