MVP, Product Management

This is a unique opportunity to make an impact on Gartner’s core business of providing insights to CIOs and top technology executives. We are looking for a bold, creative product leader who can drive the Product Management for our flagship research business and be responsible for innovating our CIO-focused subscription products by leveraging our comprehensive sources of value including insights, tools, experiences and interactions to address the needs of CIOs and senior-most technology leaders. The Managing Vice President (MVP) will be a critical member of the Global Product Management leadership team and should have a passion for building products that deliver high value to target clients across a range of industries, solving hard problems, and prioritizing efforts to maximize client value. This leader must be passionate about delivering value to clients and will be responsible for product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle, including understanding the client role, quantitative and qualitative analysis to identify and prioritize innovations, gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, implementing and launching solutions and new products, and tracking progress and impact. Results: Execute consistently using global best practices.What you will do:This leader will be responsible for variety of contributions including:Owning Product Strategy for the CIO role, including: strategy development, business case or policy development, product build & launch for innovations and implementationDriving business results for the CIO role, our largest and most strategic client role, including growth in contract value, clients, new business and retentionIncubating pilot products, including identifying & analyzing key business metrics to uncover reasons for success, reasons for obstacles and deliver needed enhancementLeads strategic project management, via the team, through Product concept through to launch. Ensuring continued impact and tracking progress of metrics post-launchThe ability to prioritize areas of utmost impact and value for CIO, End User and beyond; presented with meaningful imperatives and data from a wide range of sources. Identify and organize clear, concise actions with growth mentality and being able to build, measure and learn.Demonstrate thought leadership on the CIO role to influence executive leadership to take actions to meet client needs and capture market opportunity, and to drive long-term growth and strategic impactExecutive level presentation of Product strategy, roadmap, launch updates to our executive teams, including our CEO, Operating Committee members, and other senior leaders and cross-functional partners. Join us.Gartner believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is 208,000 USD - 261,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan.
