The Business Development Representative plays a crucial role in driving company growth by generating leads, reaching out to prospective clients, and supporting sales efforts across multiple industries including manufacturing, healthcare, finance, and startups. As an individual contributor working within a small team, this role focuses on promoting Mandry Technology Solutions as a leader in managed IT, cybersecurity, and custom business software in Lubbock, Texas. The representative will be instrumental in helping our Leadership Team to build out the companies Revenue Operations.
Responsibilities
- Conduct 70-100 outbound dials daily to identify and engage decision makers
- Generate and qualify leads through market research and targeted outreach
- Book 3-5 new appointments weekly with prospective clients
- Manage and update customer data within the CRM system
- Participate actively in outreach campaigns to expand the client base
- Perform cold calling to initiate interest and educate prospects
- Analyze reporting data to optimize outreach and sales strategies
- Promote Mandry Technology Solutions as a trusted provider in IT and cybersecurity
- Participate in building the department standard operating procedures and business process improvement initiatives
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years experience in business development
- 2+ years working with a team to close new business
- Associate degree in Marketing or Business
- Proficiency with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software, especially Salesforce
- Strong skills in cold calling and prospecting
- Experience conducting market research
- Excellent communication, time management, and collaboration abilities
- Problem-solving aptitude and sales training knowledge
