Plant ControllerThe Plant Controller is a key member of the plant leadership team, responsible for driving financial performance and maximizing plant profitability. This role provides critical financial insights, ensures accurate reporting, and supports operational decision-making. This opportunity is open across multiple plant locations, offering flexibility and the chance to support different manufacturing environments.Financial Analysis & Performance ManagementAnalyze and forecast manufacturing variances to identify trends and improvement opportunitiesPartner with plant management to drive productivity savings aligned with budget commitmentsDevelop and maintain cost standards for all manufactured productsBudgeting & ForecastingLead the preparation and coordination of departmental and plant-wide budgets and forecastsOversee the annual capital budget, including financial justification, expenditure tracking, and ROI analysisFinancial Reporting & ComplianceEnsure timely and accurate completion of monthly close activities and reporting deadlinesMaintain accurate records of plant assets, liabilities, and financial transactions in compliance with corporate policiesSupport corporate reporting requirements in collaboration with leadershipInventory & Audit OversightProvide financial oversight during physical inventory countsAssist with internal and external audits to ensure compliance and accuracyOperational SupportCollaborate cross-functionally to support plant operations and financial decision-makingPerform additional duties as required to support business objectivesQualificationsRequiredBachelor's degree in Accounting or a related fieldMinimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing accounting or plant controllingStrong collaboration and teamwork skillsAbility to work independently and manage multiple priorities under pressureExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsWillingness to travel occasionallyPreferredExperience with SAPProfessional certifications such as CPA, CMA, or CGMACore CompetenciesFinancial acumen and analytical thinkingAttention to detail and accuracyProblem-solving and decision-making skillsAbility to influence and partner with operations leadershipPrysmian, as an Equal Opportunity Employer, aims to attract and recruit individuals with diverse backgrounds, skills, and abilities.
