ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in La Plata, Maryland. Schedule Night shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30); requires every other weekend and holidays as scheduled. Job Description The Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide care to a diverse patient population, including infants to geriatrics, in a fast-paced and high-volume ER setting. The position requires the ability to manage multiple patient cases simultaneously while ensuring high standards of care and safety. Responsibilities Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients in the emergency department. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and monitor patient responses. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care. Perform emergency interventions and manage acute conditions effectively. Document all patient interactions accurately in the electronic health record. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Registered Nurse (RN) license – Must have an active MD or Compact License. Certification in BLS, ACLS, PALS, CPI, and NIHSS is required. 2 years of emergency room experience preferred; strong candidates with less experience may be considered.
