Appropriately set the controls of the related equipment, monitor equipment and patient, and make adjustments as needed. Assist radiologists with imaging procedures, including starting IVs and injecting contrast when applicable. Dispense oral contrast to patients for CT scans. Assist with interventional CT procedures. Evaluate CT scans for technical quality, collate processed images in the sequence of exposure, and appropriately label. Schedule patients for procedures and assist with clerical functions. Charge procedures and supplies used to the patient record. Load and operate power injections for contrast media administration. Deliver quality, cost‑effective patient care in a professional manner. Maintain an environment of excellence, patient‑focused, providing timely, compassionate, quality care. Promote and maintain a safe work environment for both staff and patients, incorporating national patient safety initiatives.
