We are seeking mid-level Dynamics 365 F&O Developers with experience in X++ development , API integrations , and working with modules like GL, AP, AR, and Collections. The ideal candidates will initially join on a contract basis for 6 months with the strong potential for conversion to full-time. Excellent communication and team collaboration, particularly with our accounting team, are critical for success in this role. Key Responsibilities:

- Strong D365 F&O developer who can make technical decisions independently based on functional requirements coming directly from the business (no Dynamics architect, product owner, etc. on staff - dynamcis team is lean - manager, BA becoming functional lead, 2 contract developers)
- Willing and able to convert to FTE
- X++
- Their F&O environment is relatively vanilla
- Went live October 2024
- ECS has a wide range of home grown systems built on .NET/C#/SQL Server/synapse data lake (Microsoft Stack) that integrate with F&O - they have 40 on-staff developers that support these systems, this person will need to coordinate with them on what they need from dev team to be successful in dynamics
- They will be implementing fixed assets
- They need to configure / set up management reporter
- Invoicing is done in a separate system - uploaded as a free form text docs to dynamics
- Write offs - need end point in dynamics
- Cloud hosted SaaS version of dynamics so mostly just modifying interfaces
- They use Exflow for AP automation
- They have integrated receivables with wells Fargo (CSV files and EAI-12? Invoice files)
- Don't use collections in Dynamics

Excellent communication and team collaboration, particularly with our accounting team, are critical for success in this role. Key Responsibilities:
- Work with Dynamics 365 F&O codebase, including analyzing and understanding existing customizations .
- Develop, maintain, and extend Dynamics 365 F&O functionality using X++ .
- Collaborate with the accounting team and other stakeholders to fully document processes and solutions.
- Build new API integrations and facilitate integration with tools like Solver , Xflow , or similar platforms.
- Mentor in-house developers to enhance their expertise in Dynamics F&O development.
- Assist in the transition from hypercare operations and ensure seamless month-end close processes.
- Follow best practices for maintaining data integrity, auditability, and risk mitigation during enhancements or customizations.
- Proficiency in Dynamics 365 F&O modules , especially GL, AP, AR
- Experience with Power BI , including reporting setup and migration of reports from other platforms.
- Working knowledge of Solver Reporting and Xflow for AP automation coding/invoicing.
- Competence in handling internal system integrations (e.g., invoicing system, Paylocity payroll).
- Solid background in SSRS reporting and advanced data manipulation within Dynamics.

- 5+ years of Dynamics 365 F&O experience
- Solid understanding of month-end close processes , including handling escalations/customization issues.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision while keeping clear communication with all teams.
- Interest in converting to a permanent position
- Familiarity with development for low to moderate customization environments
