Responsibilities Performs and interprets routine and complex assays on blood Prepares blood and blood components for transfusion to a patient Performs blood types and antibodies identification as well as blood group antigens and compatibility Performs all related documentation tasks Participates in evaluating, documenting and implementation of technical assays Qualifications Meets education and experience equivalent to the guidelines mandated by Centers of Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and New Jersey State Department of Health and Senior Services laws Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology (BSMT), Associate of Science (AAS) or equivalent including clinical rotations Certified by Category I Agency American Society of Clinical Pathology or National Certification Agency Successful completion of all orientations #J-18808-Ljbffr
