Senior Tester with CMS Burden Reduction - W2 Only

Overview Work Location: Hybrid3 days onsite at Bloomfield, CT (Preferred) or Franklin, TN. An in-person interview will be required in Bloomfield, CT. Job Description We are seeking a Senior End-to-End Integration QA Engineer to support the CMS Burden Reduction / CMS Interoperability program. This role is heavily focused on API testing and validation of HL7 FHIR-based healthcare APIs, ensuring regulatory compliance, data integrity, and high-quality end-to-end integrations across complex healthcare systems. Responsibilities API-Focused End-to-End Testing Own and execute end-to-end API and integration testing for CMS Burden Reduction initiatives End-to-end testing with Interoperability testing is required Validate HL7 FHIR-based REST APIs including payloads, schemas, headers, authentication, and error handling Perform deep API validation across upstream and downstream systems and integration partners Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and regulatory compliance across API workflows Agile & Program Enablement Participate in Pre-PI Planning, PI Planning & break-outs, Release retrospectives, and Technical Design walkthroughs Engage in Sprint Planning, daily stand-ups, and System Demos as part of System QA/QE Test Planning, Design & Execution Provide end-to-end test estimates for assigned features (story points) Define and review Acceptance Criteria using GIVEN-WHEN-THEN format Design, automate, and execute end-to-end test scenarios (positive, negative, integration) Identify test data needs and provide inputs for integrated test environment setup Execute tests based on business priority and critical paths Walk through test evidence and provide demos for feature acceptance Collaborate with Product Owner, Architects, Developers, RTE, and QE Leads on defect management Support warranty and post-production validation Maintain daily Jira updates for features, test execution, and defects Qualifications 8+ years of experience in End-to-End / Integration QA Strong hands-on API testing expertise (must-have) Extensive experience using Postman for API validation Strong knowledge of HL7 FHIR, Healthcare Interoperability, and CMS Burden Reduction Experience with Playwright for API and UI integration scenarios Strong experience with Jira for test and defect management Experience working in Agile / SAFe environments Tools & Technologies Postman (required) Playwright Jira REST APIs, HL7 FHIR CI/CD-aligned testing Nucural (preferred) #J-18808-Ljbffr Brains Technology Solutions Inc
