Food Runner Half Shell Dockside Apalachicola, FL Full-Time | Part-Time Join the Half Shell Dockside Team! Half Shell Dockside is seeking an energetic and dependable Food Runner to help deliver an exceptional dining experience to our guests. As a Food Runner, you will serve as the link between the kitchen and dining room, ensuring food is delivered accurately, promptly, and with outstanding customer service. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and take pride in providing excellent hospitality, we encourage you to apply. Responsibilities Deliver food orders quickly and accurately from the kitchen to guests. Verify plate presentation and order accuracy before serving. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure smooth service. Assist in maintaining a clean and organized dining room and service stations. Refill beverages, deliver condiments, and assist guests as needed. Remove used dishes and help bus tables when necessary. Follow all food safety, sanitation, and restaurant procedures. Provide friendly and professional guest service at all times. Qualifications Previous restaurant experience is preferred but not required. Positive attitude and strong communication skills. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and teamwork skills. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Must be dependable, punctual, and customer-focused. Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
