Highlights of the Position Located at Guthrie Cortland Medical Center in Cortland, NY; role is 100% ambulatory. Provide evaluation and management for adult patients with common GI conditions, support longitudinal IBD and hepatology follow‑up, optimize medication therapy, coordinate care, and deliver pre/post‑procedure education. Collaborate closely with gastroenterologists, fellow APPs, RNs, and clinic leadership within an integrated multi‑specialty system. Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program with current national certification. Eligible for New York licensure, prescriptive authority, and DEA; BLS required (ACLS preferred). GI or internal medicine experience preferred; highly motivated new graduates with strong adult medicine rotations and a clear interest in GI will be considered. Success requires excellent patient, interprofessional teamwork, EMR documentation proficiency, and a collaborative, solutions‑oriented approach.
