As a Senior Manager for Program Management (PMO) you will help create and lead the Program Management Office in support of our Modification and Upgrade (MAU) program management teams responsible for delivering critical aftermarket programs across our portfolio of Interiors products. This position will allow a seasoned program management professional the opportunity to take a critical leadership role within a fast growing business segment. This candidate will work independently, ensuring best practice, quality assurance, and executional excellence for a team of program management professionals.
What You Will Do
Works autonomously with limited oversight leading the Program Management Office by developing program standards, program management procedures, and program management best practices
Manages the data and status reports of all programs at the portfolio level through Smartsheet [Line Schedule, WAR Board, Program Reviews, NRE reports, Escalation reports]
Develops agenda for and facilitates monthly RLPM cadence reviews
Manages development of and archives monthly presentations/artifacts
Pro-actively identifies and addresses risks and develops solutions to problems which require critical thinking, creativity, and innovation
improvement through collaboration with PMs and other functions. Reviews processes released by Collins and Interiors to ensure compliance
Coordinates monthly financial forecasts, evaluates progress against financial targets weekly and reports out to leadership
Reviews monthly hard costs and ensure correct allocation to programs or indirect costs
Audits sales orders and helps with unique sales order requirements
Escalates process issues within ERP system and shared services personnel
Develops portfolio level reporting against Key Performance IndicatorsMaintains departmental control tower metrics
Coordinates with the engineering and BD proposal teams and PM management to ensure bid schedules and R&O is available for Gate B reviews
Manages annual escalation process (templates, reports, escalation of issues)
Manages Docusign account and to include monthly audits of envelope usage and annual contract/envelope purchases
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience
Qualifications We Prefer
Program management experience leading cross functional teams, ideally in commercial aviation interiors
Previous experience working with operations/manufacturing engineering organizations
Previous leadership/team lead responsibility
Strong sense of urgency and ability to prioritize competing tasks
Proficient in MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Publisher, etc)
Experience with Smartsheet

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.
