Radiology Tech - CT Tech

CT Technologist

Schedule: Nights 4-10's (7:30PM to 6AM), Monday-Thursday - No Weekends

Assignment Details: Contract Length: 13 weeks, Guaranteed Hours: 36

Requirements:

• Associates degree in Radiologic Technology from an AMA approved school
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) in radiography and CT
• Maintains licensure requirements in the state
• Maintains annual CPR certification/When Seconds Count certification
• Two years minimum experience in a diagnostic imaging setting preferred
• Ability to exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently

Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic CT examinations and assist physicians with invasive CT procedures
• Prepare examinations for interpretation and maintain radiation safety
• Administer oral and intravenous contrast media under the direction of a physician
• Transport, move, and position patients safely
• Analyze CT examinations for quality control purposes
• Participate in quality assurance/quality control activities related to CT
