Ability to float to like units as needed. Description: This position requires a Registered Nurse specializing in Medical Surgical care. The role involves caring for patients of all ages, including geriatric and adult populations. The nurse will handle a variety of diagnoses, including COPD, post-operative joints, and diabetic patients. Patient ratios can go up to 1:6 with PCA assistance. The work environment involves collaboration within multi-disciplinary teams. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are crucial for success in this role. Candidates must have the required certifications prior to starting. The organization places a strong emphasis on delivering high-quality, compassionate care to all patients. Dress code is scrubs of any color, with no branded attire from other facilities permitted. As part of the role, weekend hours may be required occasionally or as needed. The nurse will report to the Med Surg Director.
