Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Nurse in Santa Monica, California. This position involves providing surgical nursing care in a busy acute care hospital setting. The role requires hands-on experience in various surgical procedures and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: 2 years of experience, California state license in hand, BLS certification, minimum 2 years of OR experience, no first-timers accepted, on-call requirement with 2 primary weekday calls (2230-0600) in the 6-week call cycle, 2 secondary weekday calls (2230-0600), 2 primary weekend calls (one day, 12 hours, 0630-1900 or 1830-0600), 2 secondary weekend calls (one day, 12 hours, 0630-1900 or 1830-0600). RTO must be included at the time of submission.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with orthopedic/ joint procedures such as total knees and hips, Da Vinci Xi robotic surgeries for general, gynecologic, and urologic procedures, as well as spine, neuro, thoracic, and vascular surgeries including complex and minimally invasive techniques. Knowledge of Epic charting system.
• Additional Information: The position requires working in an acute care hospital with a total of 266 staffed beds, supporting various surgical specialties, including general, gynecologic, neuro, orthopedic, and robotic surgeries. The facility operates in a fast-paced environment with interdisciplinary support services such as respiratory, radiology, pharmacy, and social services.
