Essential Duties and Responsibilities Responsible for supervising an F&B (Food & Beverage) Outlet designated to this role and the overall daily management of a designated shift. Supports, administers, and manages operational goals and monitors achievements of performance and profit objectives. Create effective and efficient schedules while maintaining labor costs, meeting staffing objectives, and achieving guest satisfaction. Assist in the budget process for the department and provide recommendations; ensure compliance with departmental budget initiatives; report budget concerns to manager. Enthusiastically support, actively promote, and demonstrate superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs. Ensure customer service standards are followed by all team members and address issues as they arise. Responsible for the overall achievement of department customer service goals. Know and enforce all gaming laws and regulations that apply to the functions and duties of the Food & Beverage Department. Assist in maintaining and developing procedures for food service and inspect menu items for maximum customer satisfaction. Assist the F&B Outlet Manager to ensure efficient sanitary and pleasant service for all guests. Assist in maintaining cost control methods and procedures by monitoring consistent parts and inventory. Assist the Food & Beverage Manager with administrative duties as assigned. Ensure compliance with all regulatory compliance within the area of responsibility and report potential issues to management. Maintain strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters. Supervisory Responsibilities Responsible for staff development and training programs. Responsible for rewards and recognition programs to maximize employee engagement. Evaluate team members within the department and deliver constructive feedback on performance. Recommend staffing (including interviewing and hiring) and scheduling to meet business needs. Manage work procedures and expedite workflow. Recommend employee performance actions (disciplining, coaching, counseling). Qualification Requirements Associate degree (A.A.) in a related field; two years of Food and Beverage experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum two years of previous supervisory experience required. Ability to interact with guests, staff, and colleagues and resolve problems and conflicts diplomatically and tactfully. Ability to author reports and business correspondence. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Flexibility to work all shifts including holidays, nights, weekends, and overtime as business needs dictate. Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, Outlook). Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, and the public.
