About the Role:

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations of the daycare center, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment.
• Manage staff recruitment, training, and performance evaluations to maintain high-quality education standards.
• Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum and activities that foster children's learning.
• Maintain compliance with state licensing regulations and health and safety standards.
• Build strong relationships with parents and families, providing regular updates on children's progress.
• Conduct regular assessments to evaluate children's development and adjust programs as needed.
• Manage budgets, financial reporting, and resource allocation for the center.
• Promote a positive and collaborative team culture that encourages professional growth.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a childcare and educational leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of childhood development and best practices in early education.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with children, staff, and parents.
• CPR and First Aid certification required.
• Ability to create a nurturing and inclusive environment for all children.
• Proven leadership skills and ability to inspire a team.
• Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively
• Strong knowledge of article 47 NY (state regulations)
