Key Responsibilities Build and maintain trusting therapeutic relationships with clients through regular, empathetic communication. Assess client needs through comprehensive evaluations, working to diagnose mental health disorders effectively. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that align with the unique needs of each client, considering their circumstances and goals. Conduct individual and group therapy sessions, using evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Family Systems Therapy. Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary, ensuring that therapies remain effective and relevant. Collaborate with other mental health professionals and community resources to refer clients when specialized care is required. Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of client sessions, progress notes, and treatment plans in compliance with legal and ethical standards. Patient Population / Client Focus At Light of Love Mental Health Center, you will primarily work with diverse populations including individuals, couples, and families facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and trauma. Qualifications A valid and active license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Florida is required. A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field is essential. Exceptional interpersonal skills, demonstrating the capacity to create a supportive environment for clients. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a diverse caseload efficiently. Proficiency in using telehealth software and client management systems. Preferred Experience Previous experience providing both individual and group therapy is preferred, particularly in a remote or telehealth setting. Familiarity with various therapeutic approaches, including CBT, psychodynamic, and family therapy. A track record of successfully engaging clients in their treatment plans and fostering positive therapeutic outcomes. Compensation and Benefits The salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 110,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
