The Vista Blue Spa at the Monterey Plaza Hotel is renowned on the Monterey Peninsula for providing an exceptional spa experience that provides both relaxation and rejuvenation. We are currently looking for certified Massage Therapist with a minimum of 500 hours to join our amazing Vista Blue Spa team. This position earns California Minimum Wage for non-treatment hours worked and $44 an hour for treatment hours worked. 

The ideal candidate will have a positive demeanor, good communication skills and courteous manners as well as the ability to work well with others within a team environment is required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Administer massage and body treatments to the guests.
• Prepare and maintain the massage, body and hydrotherapy treatment areas daily.
• Maintain the supplies and the linens in all treatment rooms.
• Stay up-dated on the latest developments pertinent to the department and becomes well versed and trained in their application.
• Ensure a pleasant visit for each guest by maintaining effective guest relations.
• Perform special projects delegated by the Captain or Spa Director.
• Be cross-trained to provide other related body treatments.
• Assist in the areas cleanliness, i.e., pick up towels, cups, dishes, etc.
• Promote and sell massage and body products by using prescription pad. The front desk staff will fill prescription.
• Make daily report on treatments performed and turn in to Captain for signature.
• Be able to use spa software and print out daily activities.
