Production Worker - 2nd or 3rd Shift - Start Immediately!

Job Description

This role supports the production of precision powdered metal components used in a wide range of industrial applications, including automotive, heavy equipment, power transmission, aerospace, and general manufacturing. You will load/unload presses and ovens, perform inspections, and follow detailed production and quality procedures.

Schedule & Pay:

• 2nd Shift: Monday - Thursday, 3:00pm-1:00am
• 3rd Shift: Monday - Thursday, 9:00pm-7:00am
• Starting rate of $13.50/hour with increases available in the first 6 months!

Responsibilities

• Read, understand, and follow work instructions for each job.
• Use measuring equipment correctly to perform required quality checks.
• Record measurements and document quality issues such as chips, burrs, cracks, and other defects.
• Properly complete process tags for each job to ensure accurate tracking and traceability.
• Unload parts from presses to cardboard and move them to skids or carts in line with control plan requirements.
• Follow established procedures to safely shut off a press if an issue arises or when leaving the assigned area.
• Efficiently load and unload presses and ovens.
• Maintain a neat, orderly, and safe work area at all times.
• Follow all company safety regulations and guidelines during every task.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Emporium, PA.

The pay range for this position is $13.50 - $13.50/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
