Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Geographical Information Systems (GIS) or a related curriculum.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in a related field with in-depth expertise in GIS tools, databases, and methodologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee GIS technical operations, ensuring optimal data management and visualization practices.
- Lead complex GIS projects from data management to visualization.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior GIS technicians.
- Ensure GIS technical activities align with overall GIS strategies.
- Engage with stakeholders to understand and address GIS technical requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement and innovation in GIS technical operations.
Required Skills & Expertise
- Strong proficiency in GIS tools, databases, and methodologies.
- Ability to manage and lead technical GIS projects effectively.
- Experience mentoring and training junior GIS professionals.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills with stakeholders and teams.
