Job Opportunity

Position: Occupational Therapist 2

Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, with one weekend required per month.

Required Experience

• Acute care experience (not including acute inpatient rehabilitation)
• Outpatient care experience

Preferred Experience

• Neuro/Concussion Outpatient

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Occupational Therapy
• New York State licensure or eligibility
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience

Must successfully pass pre-employment health clearance.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer Occupational Therapy treatments as prescribed by a physician.
• Determine specific goals for patient treatment through comprehensive evaluation and consultation with healthcare professionals, patients, and their families.
• Maintain accurate record keeping and related reports.
• Participate in designated clinics, rounds, and conferences to provide patient information.
• Engage and communicate effectively with patient families.
• Ensure maintenance of equipment and supplies.
• May participate in educational programs for staff development.
