Johnson Service Group has an immediate need in Sanford, Maine for a Manufacturing Associate - Material Handler. . This is scheduled to be a 2+ Month temporary assignment 40 + hours a week. This position requires regular lifting of 40 lbs. Shift 6:30am to 4:30 pm

Job Description:
Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Production Associate is responsible for operating the manufacturing equipment that manufactures product in the production line, and manual stacking of product. In addition , the Production Associate will be accountable for basic troubleshooting and minor repairs to ensure production equipment runs efficiently.

Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Manually operates and monitors assigned lines, bagging and palletizing equipment, materials, and finished product as necessary to facilitate proper flow and machine operation.
• Coordinates the movement of product from the production lines to the skids.
• Manually stacks finished product onto pallets.
• Examines product for quality and ensures all Food Safety Handling Procedures are followed.
• Records daily logs of packages bags and wasted packaging material.
• Inspects julian date/lot codes for accuracy and legibility.
• Adopts a culture of cleanliness and safety in the work environment.

This position is available immediately and looking for someone who can start work right away.
